Project: Contemporary House
Location: Aldeburgh, Sussex
Description: We designed a highly eco-friendly house that seeks to reduce its impact on the environment, whilst providing a warm and comfortable living space, suitable for modern living. The layout was carefully considered to maximise views of the surrounding countryside and was designed in close consultation with the local planning authority.
It was designed to be extremely energy-efficient and economical to run, with underfloor heating, triple-glazing, high-performance insulation and rigerous technical detailing to minimise heat loss.
